In this course, students will do the introduction and study the diversity of the members of the largest group of animals, arthropoda. The course will also cover the origin of the arthropods. This group includes the spiders, scorpions, ticks, mites, crustaceans, millipedes, centipedes and insects. The effects of some arthropod members on the environment will be discussed including ways of controlling their harmful effects to the environment.
