This course is designed to make the learners appreciate the process of Measurement and Evaluation in education, which includes the measurement of knowledge, abilities, attitudes, and personality traits. The course is primarily concerned with, theories of measurements, principles and techniques of evaluations, educational objectives, types of tests and evaluation, the construction and validation of measurement tests, test administration scoring and interpretation, item analysis and scaling. The course intents to provide the learner with diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic techniques that will be needed during measurement and evaluation process.
